We are seeking an Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our school! We are looking for someone passionate about teaching children with a creative, "thinking-outside-the-box" mindset. The candidate will receive training on teaching STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) using The Seeds of STEM curriculum and our unique Science curriculum. Training will also include using the Engineering Design Process in teaching preschoolers. The ideal candidate will embrace our core values:

Duties & Responsibilities
- Instruct preschool children using the engineering design process to promote scientific thinking with the Seeds of STEM curriculum.
- Create a fun and safe learning environment.
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure physical activity, rest, and playtime.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Communicate students' growth and progress to parents.
- Maintain health and safety of all students.
- Follow school rules and regulations.
- Be reliable and responsible for assigned duties.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (for Lead teacher).
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development.
- CDA Credentials; Georgia Approved Trainer preferred.
- Experience in childcare setting.
- Strong organization, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and accreditation standards.
- Ability to pass a federal background check.
- Passionate about working with children.
- Ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Positive, patient demeanor.
- Understanding or eagerness to learn STEAM concepts and the Engineering Design Process.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions, work independently, and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a noisy environment.
