Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Preschool Teacher located in Decatur, GA. The Assistant Preschool Teacher will support the lead teacher in developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum. Daily tasks include guiding children’s activities, assisting in classroom management, facilitating communication with parents, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children. Additionally, the assistant teacher will observe and document children’s progress and collaborate with colleagues to create a nurturing learning environment.

Qualifications

• Skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
• Experience and knowledge in Early Childhood Education and Kindergarten
• Strong Communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff
• Ability to work collaboratively and supportively in a diverse educational setting
