The Learning Experience - Manassas in Manassas, VA is seeking a passionate, energetic Assistant Director to help lead our preschool team and grow into leadership while staying connected to children, teachers, and families.

This role offers opportunities for leadership development, collaboration with the Center Director, and a focus on delivering high-quality early childhood education using the LEAP Curriculum.

Qualifications

What You'll Do

As Assistant Director, you'll work alongside the Center Director to help create an amazing experience for our children, families, and teachers.

You’ll help:

• Lead, coach, and support our teaching team
• Create a positive, welcoming center culture
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and staff development
• Maintain safe, engaging, high-quality classrooms
• Ensure compliance with Virginia licensing, health, and safety requirements
• Support staffing and daily center operations
• Build strong relationships with current families
• Welcome prospective families and assist with center tours and enrollment
• Help implement our proprietary L.E.A.P.® Curriculum
• Support family retention and center enrollment goals
• Participate in community events and center activities
• Step into classrooms and support the team when needed

You May Be a Great Fit If You:

• Have experience in a licensed daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting
• Have leadership experience OR are an experienced Lead Teacher ready for your next step
