Job summary

The Learning Experience - Austin, TX - Dripping Springs is seeking an Assistant Director to support the daily operations of our early childhood education center. You will help lead teachers, support families, and maintain licensing and safety standards to ensure classrooms have the resources needed for high-quality care.

Working with the Center Director, you’ll build a collaborative team culture, coach staff, manage enrollment, and uphold brand quality across the center.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in childcare, preschool, daycare, or early childhood education
• Leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred
• Experience coaching or supporting early childhood teachers preferred
• Knowledge of childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and support daily center operations
• Must meet applicable state licensing and regulatory requirements
• Degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field preferred

The Learning Experience is hiring an Assistant Director to support the daily operations of our early childhood education center.

Working with the Center Director, the Assistant Director helps lead teachers, support families, maintain licensing and safety standards, and ensure classrooms have the resources needed to provide high-quality care and education.

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized center

Elevates the Brand

Represent The Learning Experience and maintain consistent center standards.

• Provide a professional experience for current and prospective families
• Help families understand TLE's programs and approach to early childhood education
• Support center tours, enrollment, and community engagement
• Maintain TLE brand and quality standards throughout the center

Qualifications
