Job summary

BF Construction Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support active commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Leads to drive schedules, coordinate subcontractors, and track procurement while ensuring documentation aligns with project status. This role emphasizes ownership, problem solving, and a clear path into Project Management for candidates with 3+ years in commercial construction.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience supporting Project Managers, Superintendents, or field operations.
• Ability to read construction plans, specs, and project docs.
• Understanding of construction sequencing and workflows.
• Experience with schedules, look-aheads, procurement, RFIs, submittals, or project controls.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Help develop, manage, and drive active project schedules.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors; track procurement and logistics.
• Review daily project updates, field reports, and meeting notes for status.
• Prepare concise project updates for Project Managers and Leadership.
• Escalate risks with clear facts and deadlines; drive issue resolution.
