Job summary

MYR Energy Services, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager II to lead and coordinate construction projects, ensuring safety, quality and compliance while keeping schedules and budgets on track.

The role reports to an Operations or District Manager, may involve travel on EPC and solar projects, and requires strong leadership, cost/risk management, and proficiency with MS Office and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office; scheduling software familiarity (Primavera P6).
• Ability to delegate effectively and make important decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage completion of construction projects by organizing and controlling project elements.
• Ensure safety, quality and legal compliance; negotiate solutions for problems.
• Determine project schedule by studying plans and sequencing activities.
• Maintain schedule by monitoring progress and resolving issues.
• Control project costs by approving expenditures and administering contracts.
• Prepare status reports and communicate with management and clients.
