Job summary

Acloché LLC in Richmond, VA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for heavy civil and highway projects. You will support the Senior PM, manage submittals, RFIs, procurement, cost tracking, and scheduling, with a clear path to running projects as you prove capability.

You bring 2–5 years of heavy civil or utility project experience, a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree, and a valid driver's license; relocation to Richmond is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years on heavy civil, highway, or utility projects.
• Experience with scheduling and cost tracking.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Responsibilities

• Drive submittals, RFIs, and procurement schedules to keep field teams on track.
• Coordinate subcontractors and supplier purchase orders to protect schedule.
• Track quantities, production, and costs against budget and flag variances.
• Support monthly payment requisitions, cost projections, and project docs.
• Attend weekly project team meetings and participate in schedule/cost reviews.
• Support a safety culture at all levels of the project.
