Job summary

Venergy Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, administration, coordination, and financial control of federal construction projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and government representatives to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

This developing PM role requires managing controls and documentation and progressively handling small projects or portions of larger ones, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in construction project coordination or related roles.
• Knowledge of drawings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and closeout docs.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Project administration and document control.
• Prepare, process, distribute, and track RFIs, submittals, transmittals, meeting minutes, and change orders.
• Maintain current drawings, specs, amendments, and as-built information.
• Develop and maintain logs for submittals, RFIs, procurement, and closeouts.
• Review docs for accuracy and schedule/cost impacts.
• Assist with scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
• Coordinate site logistics, outages, and work in occupied facilities.
• Support project setup, budgets, forecasting, and cost-to-complete.
• Attend progress, safety, and closeout meetings; prepare minutes.
