Job summary

Highline Warren seeks an Assistant Plant Manager to oversee blending, packaging, maintenance and distribution. Lead safety, quality and efficiency while executing budgets and capital plans. You will collaborate with EHS, engineering, and operations, drive Lean initiatives, and ensure SOPs are followed.

Strong leadership and data presentation to upper management are essential. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of manufacturing experience; Six Sigma certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• Five (5) years’ related experience in manufacturing and/or chemical industry; or any satisfactory combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above duties.
• Six Sigma, Green Belt or Black Belt certification highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead large teams of associates at various management levels.
• Develop strategies to improve safety culture in collaboration with EHS.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.
• Lead lean manufacturing programs and sustain lean principles.
• Prepare, review, and distribute manufacturing and distribution metrics; ensure corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering on manufacturing information and technology to increase innovation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage budgets and oversee storage, handling, shipping, and receiving of materials.
