Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company (TMICC) in Sikeston, MO seeks an Assistant Plant Controller to act as the primary finance business partner to the factory leadership and support the Plant Controller in driving site performance. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, product costing, inventory management, waste reduction, and capital investment analysis.

Collaborating with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Procurement and Maintenance, the assistant will drive cost improvements

Qualifications

• 3+ years of finance experience with Supply Chain/Operations finance partnering.
• Detailed knowledge of financial systems (SAP FIN & SC, PBCS, Driverless).
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities with timely, accurate reporting.
• Maintain robust forecasting models with budget owners for accuracy.
• Monitor key cost drivers: labor, overhead, utilities, freight, maintenance, waste.
• Support physical inventory counts and reconciliation processes.
• Track savings initiatives and ensure realized financial benefits.
