Job summary

Harborview Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager/RN3 for the Operating Room service line (Burns, hands and plastics). The role partners with the Nurse Manager to lead a high-acuity, 24/7 OR team across 25 suites and 13 specialties.

You will provide clinical leadership, support onboarding and competency development, and help with daily operations, patient flow, and program improvements. This is a 100% FTE, Seattle-based position with opportunities to serve as charge nurse and

Qualifications

Washington State RN license required or valid multistate license.
Two or more years of perioperative nursing experience.
Leadership experience such as charge nurse or equivalent.
Equivalent education and experience may substitute for minimum qualifications where permitted.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Coordinate care across departments to support optimal patient outcomes.
Serve as clinical resource and role model; guide nursing staff.
Assist with onboarding, education and competency development; support daily operations.
Promote effective communication among patients, families, and the care team.
