Harborview Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager/RN3 for the Operating Room service line (Burns, hands and plastics). The role partners with the Nurse Manager to lead a high-acuity, 24/7 OR team across 25 suites and 13 specialties.

You will provide clinical leadership, support onboarding and competency development, and help with daily operations, patient flow, and program improvements. This is a 100% FTE, Seattle-based position with opportunities to serve as charge nurse and

Qualifications

• Washington State RN license required or valid multistate license.
• Two or more years of perioperative nursing experience.
• Leadership experience such as charge nurse or equivalent.
• Equivalent education and experience may substitute for minimum qualifications where permitted.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate care across departments to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Serve as clinical resource and role model; guide nursing staff.
• Assist with onboarding, education and competency development; support daily operations.
• Promote effective communication among patients, families, and the care team.
