Job summary

Harborview Medical Center in Seattle is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to lead perioperative operations in the Burns, hands and plastics OR service line. This 100% FTE role supports the Nurse Manager, ensuring safe patient care and high-quality outcomes across 24/7 operations.

You will mentor staff, coordinate across departments, and participate in committees while driving onboarding and competency development. A WA RN license and perioperative experience are required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of perioperative nursing experience.
• Charge nurse experience or equivalent leadership.
• Washington State RN license or multistate license.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care through all nursing phases.
• Coordinate care across departments to improve outcomes.
• Act as clinical resource and role model for staff.
• Assist with onboarding, education and competency development.
• Support daily operations, staffing, and program development.
• Promote effective communication with patients and care teams.
• Serve as charge nurse and participate in committees as needed.
