Job summary

Pregis is seeking an Assistant Operator to support the Mailer Production department. This hourly role involves supervising hourly staff, ensuring quality products at optimal cost, and adhering to company standards and procedures.

The candidate should operate full converting line and finishing equipment, follow SOPs, and train others as needed. Responsibilities include problem solving, line setup, and maintaining safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Direct press crews for efficient operation of machines.
• Ensure all job tickets and components are correct before proceeding.
• Achieve print quality and proper registration on equipment.
• Set up and operate press controls, splicer, gluer, applicators, and cutters.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain accurate job counts and uphold safety standards.
