Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation in Renton, WA is seeking an entry-level production helper to assist the Operator with setup and operation of a production machine. You will read run conditions, adjust settings under guidance, unload finished product, and aid in packaging and warehouse transfer.

The role is on the morning shift with a pay rate of $24.00 per hour. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, manufacturing aptitude, strong communication, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Job Description

Job Role: Assists Operator in the set up and operation of a production machine in accordance to established procedures and guidelines. Reads and interprets machine run conditions as necessary. Adjusts machine settings under guidance of the operator to complete tasks accurately according to specifications and in a timely fashion. Unloads finished product from the production line and assists in the packaging and transportation of finished product into the warehouse for shipment.

Pay: $24.00

Primary Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting Operator in all machine functions as necessary and unloading of finished product. Also, additional responsibilities as defined below.
• Plan and Prepare for upcoming jobs.
• Help troubleshoot machine related issues and quality defects
• Help communicate, follow company plant policies & programs
• Be aware of all safety rules & regulations.

Qualifications

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Able to stand for a period of 8 hours at a time, perform repetitive bending and stretching on a daily basis.
