Sealed Air Corporation in Louisville, KY is seeking an Assistant Conversion Operator (1st shift) to maintain quality during production, adjust gauges, and assist the lead Operator to optimize machinery for efficiency and scrap reduction.

Requires 3+ years in manufacturing preferred; fluent English; ability to read/write; willing to overtime on short notice; strong safety and attendance record; High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Job Description

Pay Rate: $19.00

Summary:
Assistant Conversion Operators are responsible for maintaining quality of material being produced through continual adjustments of gauges that control machine speed. They are responsible for safety, quality control checks, and troubleshooting, while assisting the lead Operator in running the line. Assistant Operators aid the lead Operator in optimizing the machinery for the best production rate and scrap output.
