Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking an Assistant Mailer Operator for night shift (Sundays–Thursdays, 11 pm–7 am). The role involves safe operation of mailer equipment, adjusting gauges for speed, temperature and tension, and ensuring quality and efficiency.

Pay is $23.10/hr with a $0.75/hr shift differential. Candidates should have at least 1 year of factory experience and be able to work overtime and weekends in a hot environment up to 110 degrees F.

Job Description

Position Summary: The Assistant Mailer Operator assists the Operator in the safe operation of the mailerequipment to produce quality product by continual adjustments of gauges that controlmachines speed, temperatures, pressures, and winder speeds while also focusing on safety andefficiency.

Pay $23.10/hr. Shift differential: $0.75/hr

Shift: Night. Sundays to Thursdays from 11 pm to 7 am.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Knows and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
• Follow direction of the Operator once production schedule is obtained.
• Gather and measure raw materials and parts required to specification.
• Prepare station for production process.
• Assist in the operations of manufacturing of quality products.
• Help Operator complete all required reports.
• Comply with Company standards regarding housekeeping and 6S on machines and surroundingareas.
• Ability to help troubleshoot when problems arise.
• Perform duties of other team members as required during breaks and absences.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred

Requirements:

• 1+ year of factory-related experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Awareness towards safety
• Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and independently
• Able to work overtime and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in operating hoists/ cranes, forklift, and other related equipment

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, and bending
• Pushing, pulling, lifting weights over 30lbs
• Eye/hand coordination
• Must be able to routinely work in a "hot room" (up to 110 degrees F at times)
