Job summary

Vaaraway, a growing luxury vacation rental brand, seeks an experienced Assistant Operations Manager to drive day-to-day operations across Hospitality, Reservations, Revenue, Marketing, and House Managers. You will coordinate launches, monitor workflows, and ensure accountability, acting as a trusted operational partner to leadership.

You’ll thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment, taking ownership, communicating clearly, and improving processes to scale operations as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on operations experience within vacation rentals, hospitality, property management, hotels/resorts, or a closely related lodging environment
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
• Strong technology skills with the ability to quickly learn new platforms and workflows
• High attention to detail and consistent follow-through
• Ability to communicate professionally and confidently across multiple teams and levels of an organization

Responsibilities

• Drive Day-to-Day Operations: own and track priorities, deadlines, and action items; coordinate across departments; ensure timely resolutions
• Partner With House Managers: monitor task completion, property needs, and operational consistency; manage communications across teams
• Coordinate New Property Onboarding: build onboarding checklists; ensure launch requirements are met; maintain SOPs in Notion
• Manage Breezeway Workflows: maintain recurring tasks and checklists; ensure consistent usage across properties; monitor overdue items
