Assistant Operations Manager - Construction

Job Description

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a detail-oriented and well-organized manager to join our growing team. You will play a key role in managing the day-to-day activities of our company and staff related to operations. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Candidates must possess a positive attitude, pursue both tactical and strategic excellence, and work well in high-volume situations while remaining flexible to immediate needs. Mastery of software and systems is critical, as are strong communication skills. Experience in the construction/environmental or services industry is preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Support quality operations through daily contact, coordination, and use of systems.
  2. Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Minimize errors and inefficiencies, recommending operational improvements to management.
  4. Supervise the effective operation, utilization, and maintenance of established processes.
  5. Ensure timely notification to appropriate entities/agencies as needed in the course of our scheduling services.
  6. Review reports for trends and areas of improvement.
  7. Perform other duties as directed by management.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in construction is a plus.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a service industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with technological adeptness in SaaS and vendor portals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
