Job summary

DuraServ is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to lead service coordinators, manage daily schedules, and reinforce warehouse and inventory protocols. This role is a development track toward running the branch, with a strong emphasis on meeting customer commitments on time and budget.

You’ll work alongside the Operations Manager to oversee field and warehouse operations, drive coaching, and ensure adherence to standards across the department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in manufacturing, distribution, field service, or similar operations.
• Proven ability to supervise or coordinate a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 for scheduling and reporting.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing daily schedules and project plans to meet commitments on time, within budget and quality standards.
• Review workload daily and manage manpower, adjusting to changing priorities.
• Oversee warehouse operations including equipment staging, parts stock, purchase orders, and inventory.
• Provide direct supervision to Service Coordinators and coach for continuous improvement.
• Oversee subcontractors, conduct site reviews, and ensure punch list completion to standards.
• Support growth of the service department and participate in training programs.
• Develop leadership skills through exposure to branch service operations.
