Assistant Operations Manager – Cleaning Services
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 per year
Are you a proactive leader with a strong background inoperations management? A well-established company in the cleaning servicesindustry is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to oversee daytimejanitorial accounts, manage client relationships, and drive operationalexcellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serveas the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns andensuring satisfaction.
- Buildand maintain strong client relationships to enhance service quality andretention.
- Overseedaytime janitorial operations, ensuring high standards in cleaningservices and quality.
- Assistwith hiring, training, and coaching employees in coordination with HR.
- Managesupply orders, labor hours, and operational metrics.
- Ensurecompliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safetystandards.
- Conductsite inspections and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Utilizevarious communication tools (email, phone, video conferencing, and otherplatforms) to effectively interact with clients, employees, andmanagement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, facility management, or arelated field.
- Highschool diploma required; post-secondary education in business ormanagement preferred.
- Strongclient relations skills, with the ability to build and maintainprofessional relationships.
- Proficiencyin computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)and other relevant software.
- Goodpresence and adaptability using different types of communication devices (phone, email, video conferencing, mobile apps, etc.).
- ValidDriver’s License with a clean driving record (must operate companyvehicles).
- Experiencein cleaning services, facilities management, or janitorial operationspreferred.
- Strongleadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Abilityto pass and maintain a background check and drug screening.
- Office-basedand on-site at commercial client locations.
- Frequentstanding, walking, and lifting.
- Primarilydaytime work with flexibility required for operations oversight.
- Mayrequire after-hours availability based on client needs andemergencies.
