Socket.dev is seeking an Assistant Operations Director to support the Operations Director in ensuring efficient daily operations across the organization. You will oversee processes, lead cross-functional teams, and drive improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance, safety, and quality.

The role requires proactive leadership, strong analytics, and ability to translate strategic plans into actionable plans with measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or related field
• At least 5 years in operations management or a similar leadership role
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams
• Strong knowledge of operational best practices, compliance, and safety regulations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and execution of operational strategies to improve efficiency across departments
• Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
• Coordinate with department heads to manage workflow, allocate resources, and resolve issues promptly
• Analyze operational data and prepare reports to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement
• Support the Operations Director in budgeting, forecasting, and managing operational expenses
• Lead and mentor operational staff to foster a collaborative and high-performance environment
• Implement and oversee safety protocols and risk management procedures
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and recommending process enhancements
• Facilitate communication between senior management and operational teams to ensure alignment on objectives
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned by senior leadership
