Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Hts, OH is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Med/Surg Stroke Unit to provide clinical supervision and unit coordination while supporting the nurse manager.

This full-time day-shift role offers $40–$60/hour and responsibilities include managing day-to-day ambulatory procedural settings, overseeing nursing staff, and ensuring quality patient care.

Qualificações

• BSN required
• 2+ years of clinical experience required
• Critical care experience preferred
• Current state RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred
• PALS preferred

Responsabilidades

• Manage the day-to-day operations of ambulatory procedural settings caring for hospitalized patients.
• Oversee nursing personnel and patient care providers in procedural settings to ensure quality of care.
• Anticipate and resolve patient care issues.
• Ensure continuity of patient care by facilitating communication among department staff.
• Review major operational patient care issues with Nurse Managers.
• Provide ongoing clinical evaluation of nurses and other patient care providers.
• Counsel employees on performance issues and monitor attendance.
• Alert Nurse Manager of significant clinical or performance issues.
• Participate in interviewing, selecting, and appraising employee performance.
• Monitor adherence to EEO/AAP goals and guidelines.
