Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; Master’s in Nursing preferred.
• Current State of Texas license to practice professional nursing required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; professional certification in clinical area or management within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Assist with deployment of departmental goals that support the organization’s mission and values.
• Assist leadership with managerial responsibilities and day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate care between units, nurses and providers; ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Plan staff schedules, mentor staff, and participate in quality improvement activities.
