The position requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing (Master’s preferred), Texas RN license, and 3+ years of ED leadership experience, with ACLS/BLS/PALS/TNCC certifications. Night shifts, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; Master’s in Nursing preferred.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in the clinical area; leadership experience expected.
• Current Texas RN license or compact license; BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications required or within specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assist with deployment of departmental goals aligned with MHHS mission and values.
• Provide managerial support and oversee day-to-day operations of the ED.
• Schedule development and coordination among staff and departments.
• Mentor staff and participate in quality improvement and PI projects.
• Respond in emergencies and ensure safe, evidence-based patient care.
