Job summary

Baptist Health is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager to join the Emergency Department team at the St. Augustine Emergency Room, Saint Augustine, FL. This is a full-time day shift opportunity at Baptist & Wolfson St. Augustine Emergency Room.

The role partners with direct care staff to deliver quality patient care, serves as an expert clinical resource, and leads admission, transfer and discharge flows while coaching staff development. RN license and U.S. work authorization required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years nursing experience (required).
• Medical Surgical and Telemetry experience (required).
• Leadership and charge nurse experience (required).
• Licensed Registered Nurse (required). Basic Life Support (BLS) (required).

Responsibilities

• Works closely with the direct care staff during their shift to deliver quality patient care.
• Is an expert clinical resource.
• Facilitates the admission, transfer and discharge flow.
• Takes a lead role in implementing changes.
• Supports and coaches staff development.
• Makes shift to shift patient care assignments.
• Takes a direct patient care assignment as needed.
