Required qualifications include a High School Diploma, Basic Life Support (BLS), and an EMT or CNA license. The position focuses on patient care, accurate intake and output monitoring, and teamwork within a fast-paced ED.

Qualifications

• Assists RNs in the Emergency Department with patient care.
• Maintains a safe patient environment and environment of care.
• Collects lab specimens for testing.
• Monitors intake and output and documents in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Assisting RNs in the Emergency Department with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including activities of daily living.
• Maintaining a safe environment and assisting with daily healthcare tasks.
• Collecting lab specimens and supporting ED workflows.
• Intake and output monitoring and accurate EMR documentation.
• Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
