UnityPoint Health Meriter seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager to provide clinical and administrative leadership for the assigned patient care area. This role supports the Nurse Manager in coordinating resources and promoting quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN (or is pursuing one) with at least 3 years of nursing experience and an active Wisconsin RN license. Strong communication and collaborative skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred; candidates without BSN may be considered on a case-by-case basis and should be enrolled in a program with a completion date within 24 months.
• 3 years of nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for the clinical and administrative leadership of the assigned patient care area.
• Assist the Nurse Manager in the control, coordination and evaluation of human, material and fiscal resources.
