Job summary

Providence in Kodiak, AK is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to oversee clinical and operational activities on the assigned shift, using the nursing process to support the unit director.

The ANM will ensure staffing, quality metrics, and staff development, while providing managerial presence across all shifts. Requirements include BS/BSN, Alaska RN license, and BLS from American Heart Association; preferred acute care, leadership, and Shared Governance experience.

Qualifications

• BS or BSN in Nursing required or prior to November 1, 2024 personnel encouraged to pursue BSN but not required for employment

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical and operational activities for the assigned shift using the nursing process.
• Assist the unit director/manager with planning, organizing, directing and evaluating services; provide managerial presence across all shifts.
