Detail oriented with solid knowledge of nursing policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage direct reports including recruitment, hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, development, education, competencies, performance evaluations, and payroll functions.
Demonstrates critical thinking, creativity, and resource management to achieve quality performance and positive employee relations.
Fosters a culture of psychological safety, where team members feel supported and empowered to speak up.
Promotes evidence-based practice, ensuring quality outcomes and a culture of safety and continuous learning.
Provides ongoing nursing education and training to staff to maintain high competency levels.
Conducts regular staff meetings to communicate updates and guidance.
Prepares the unit for audits and surveys, maintaining regulatory compliance and preparedness.
Manages nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care.
Assists in budgeting and resource management to meet financial and operational goals.
Develops, implements, and evaluates service programs to ensure quality care.
Other duties as assigned.

Assists in developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing service programs to ensure quality nursing and patient care.
