Job summary

LOFT is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser to support execution of departmental strategies across the Product Life Cycle. You will assist in building and updating assortment sheets, reconciling receipts, and ensuring sample accuracy for cross-functional handoffs.

You will generate insights from weekly/monthly reports, conduct market research, and support key meetings such as Hindsight and Investment Review to inform pricing and product messaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fashion-related field is required.
• 1 year of merchandising-related experience or relevant internships is expected.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proficient in report building.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Merchandiser in executing departmental strategies and product lifecycle processes.
• Generate and distribute weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports.
• Maintain assortment sheets, reconcile receipts, and communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare documentation for Product Lifecycle Meetings and conduct market research.
• Collaborate with Planning, Sourcing, and Marketing to drive sales and milestones.
