Job summary

Chatham University in Pittsburgh seeks an Assistant Men’s Wrestling Coach to support all aspects of its NCAA Division III Wrestling Program. You will assist the Head Coach with recruiting, student-athlete development, and day-to-day operations of the program.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and coaching experience, with NCAA Division III experience preferred. You will help plan practices, coordinate events, ensure compliance, and promote academic and athletic success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of one year of collegiate coaching experience.
• NCAA Division III experience as a coach or student-athlete is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute recruiting efforts to attract qualified student-athletes.
• Coach and mentor student-athletes to support development.
• Assist with practice planning, game prep, and operations.
• Manage program resources, equipment, and needs.
• Promote academic success and personal growth for athletes.
• Ensure NCAA Division III and PAC compliance.
• Represent the program at campus events and community activities.
• Foster a positive team culture built on sportsmanship and integrity.
