Description

ASSISTANT MEN’S VOLLEYBALL COACH

Bridgewater College, a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Men’s Volleyball Coach, to begin July 1. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Head Men’s Volleyball Coach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the head coach in all facets of a Division III men’s volleyball program
  • Recruiting prospective student-athletes who fit the mission and culture of the program and the college
  • Organizing & conducting on-court coaching during practices, individual sessions, and games
  • Developing detailed scouting reports, statistics, and video analysis breakdowns
  • Responsible for program fundraising initiatives
  • Assist with program marketing and branding on a multitude of platforms, including social media
  • Providing mentoring and support for the student-athletes, particularly regarding academics and player development
  • Complying with all NCAA, conference, and college policies and regulations.
  • Secondary duties assigned by the athletic department

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Basic competency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Prior collegiate coaching experience and/or competitive collegiate playing experience required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the college’s auto insurance carrierrequired.

Pay is competitive, and salary is commensurate with experience. This full-time position offers a full benefits package, including paid tuition at the College for eligible dependents.
