Job summary

Centre College invites applications for an Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach to support a competitive Division III program under the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach. You will assist with practices, recruiting, and program administration while upholding NCAA and SAA guidelines and Centre College policies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and prior collegiate experience; CPR/AED/First Aid certifications will be required after hire. This is a full-time on-campus position within the Athletics Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with prior collegiate experience as a player or coach.
• Demonstrated knowledge of lacrosse rules and coaching methods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing, preparing and conducting practices, training, and competition.
• Recruit student-athletes in accordance with Centre College, SAA, and NCAA rules.
• Assist in directing all aspects of the team and in holistic development of student-athletes.
• Represent the program to students, parents, alumni, and the public; manage daily operations and administration of the lacrosse program.
• Participate in fundraising initiatives and assist with duties assigned by Head Coach or Director of Athletics.

Individual reports to the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach as well as to the Deputy AD (or designee) with a secondary duty to be assigned.
