Job description

Quincy University, a Franciscan Catholic liberal arts university, invites applications for the position of Assistant Men’s and Women’s Swimming Coach.

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a representative of the University, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with the QU community and the public.
2. Assist the Head Coach with training, coaching, scouting, and recruitment of student-athletes.
3. Assist with scheduling and travel arrangements.
4. Manage the strength and conditioning program for student-athletes.
5. Oversee pool operations, including scheduling and coordinating lifeguards.
6. Perform other duties assigned by the Head Swimming Coach.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree.
2. Experience and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level.
3. Strong written and oral communication skills.
4. Ability to work with diverse student populations.
5. Flexible working hours (nights and weekends).

Salary:

$30,000 - $35,000 per year.
