The St. Cloud VA Health Care System is seeking an Assistant Medical Director of Primary and Specialty Medicine to lead the PSM service line across its Minnesota CBOCs in Alexandria, Montevideo, and Brainerd.

The role combines clinical oversight with administrative leadership to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, coordinating schedules, and advancing performance measures while supporting recruitment incentives and Education Debt Reduction Program

Competenze

• MD/DO degree from an approved school.
• Current full, unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Residency in an ABMS/AOA-approved core specialty leading to board eligibility.
• Board certification or eligibility preferred in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine.

Mansioni

• Provide direct management and oversight of clinical and administrative operations within the Primary and Specialty Medicine (PSM) service line.
• Supervise physicians and mid-level providers across the Health Care System and CBOCs; coordinate work schedules and clinical performance measures.
• Collaborate with leaders to optimize resources and participate in governance, quality assurance, and program development.
• Support education debt reduction and recruitment incentives as applicable to VA policies.
