GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to energize operations at a busy convenience store in Hadley, MA. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, and lead a team focused on exceptional customer service and store success. Expect to hire, train, and step in as acting manager when needed.

You will oversee inventory, scheduling, and daily cash handling while maintaining a clean, safe environment. This role opens doors to retail leadership growth.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Minimum age 18+.
• Proficient in English with basic math.
• Must have or be able to obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
• Provide feedback to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned.
