Job summary

White House Black Market in Tysons Corner, VA, is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering a memorable customer experience. You will help build community connections, drive sales, and coach associates to uphold our hospitality standards.

The role requires 3 years of retail management experience (preferred), high ownership, and flexible hours including nights and weekends.

• Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution of inventories.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.

You’ll bring to the role

• Passion for our brand, fashion, and empowering confidence.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
