KnitWell Group, operating White House Black Market (WHBM), seeks an Assistant Manager for Store 3467 at Fashion Center Pentagon City, Arlington, VA. You will support the Store Manager in leading the team to deliver a seamless, personalized customer experience in a high-traffic fashion environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years retail management, strong communication, and a proactive ownership mindset. Flexible availability is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and creating a seamless customer experience. This position helps foster a welcoming environment—for both associates and customers—that enables us to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution of inventories.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.

You’ll bring to the role Passion for our brand, fashion, and empowering confidence. Must be at least 18 years old. 3 years of retail management experience preferred. Flexible availability—including nights, weekends, and holidays. A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative. Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
