MGM Resorts International's TAP restaurant in National Harbor, Maryland is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and create WOW guest experiences through welcoming service and attention to detail.

The role requires floor planning, supervision of service, staff evaluations, coordination with the Chef, and sustaining strong guest relations. 21+ years old, HS diploma, 2+ years of relevant experience; F&B supervisory experience preferred.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must have at least two (2) years of prior relevant experience.
• Prior Food and Beverage supervisory/managerial experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Make daily floor plans per shift to ensure proper rotation and coverage of stations.
• Supervise floor service in dining rooms during hours of operation.
• Perform employee evaluations and manage issues related to attendance records.
• Maintain communication with the Chef on all food service and menu issues.
• Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff to fulfill and address guest needs and requests.
• Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing; prepare purchase requisitions for outlets from the warehouse or support departments.
• Keep inventory form and stocking area updated.
• Inspect food coming from support departments to assure freshness and quality.
• Maintain direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations.

THE JOB:

As a Restaurant Assistant Manager at TAP, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Make daily floor plans per shift to ensure proper rotation and coverage of stations

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Must have at least two (2) years of prior relevant experience
• Prior experience within Food and Beverage experience to include supervisory/managerial experience (preferred)

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is: $46,000.00 - $63,200.00 This range represents a good faith estimate of the salary range that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
