Job summary

Kei Concepts seeks an Assistant Manager for SUP Noodle Bar in Buena Park, CA. This full-time exempt role collaborates with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, coach staff, and drive guest satisfaction while monitoring costs, quality, sanitation, and safety.

You will hire and train team members, schedule shifts, manage cash handling, ensure health compliance, and contribute to a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong knowledge of front-of-house operations and food & beverage service.
• ServSafe Alcohol Certification, if applicable.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with POS systems and basic cash‑handling procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily restaurant operations and ensure guests receive friendly, responsive, and professional service.
• Maintain standards for food quality, preparation, presentation, cleanliness, sanitation, and restaurant appearance.
• Hire, train, schedule, coach, and develop restaurant team members.

• Monitor employee attendance, performance, and adherence to company policies.
• Assist with cash handling, reconciliation, receiving, paperwork, reports, and schedules.

• Support incident reporting and workplace investigations when necessary.
• Step into restaurant operations as needed to maintain efficient service.

The Assistant Manager supports the planning, organization, training, and leadership of restaurant operations while helping the team achieve goals related to sales, costs, employee retention, guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.

This role works closely with the General Manager and restaurant leadership to maintain strong operational standards, develop employees, and provide a consistently positive guest experience.
