Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC, is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 78 in the Lakeside area to lead daily store operations and ensure exceptional customer service on every shift.

Open availability including weekends/holidays and second or third shifts is required. You will support the Store Manager, manage cash handling, scheduling, training, inventory, and promote upsell promotions while maintaining a clean, welcoming store.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating second/third shifts.
• Reliable transportation with valid license and proof of insurance for deposits.
• Willing to perform cleaning, stocking and customer service duties.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Proficiency in English and basic math for transactions.
• Food Safety Certification required or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations.
• Run the register with speed, accuracy and a positive attitude.
• Coach team to upsell products and promotions.
• Assist with hiring, training and leading staff for customer service excellence.
• Step in as acting manager during Store Manager absence.
• Handle inventory, ordering and merchandising to keep stock full.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and pumps, restrooms and other areas.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and oversee deposits and store finances.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.

Qualifications

• Open Availability: You must be available to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Reliable Transportation: You must have a valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and proof of insurance to complete bank deposits.
• Physical Readiness: Comfortable with tasks such as cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining outside areas like pumps.
• Minimum Age Requirement: 21+ years old.
• Communication Skills: Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to Learn.
• Certification: Must have (or be able to obtain) a Food Safety Certification.
