Job summary

GPM Investments’ fas mart is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 42 in Crewe, VA. This full-time role requires open availability across mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends and holidays, to keep operations energized and customers satisfied.

You will support the Store Manager, handle cash, lead a team, upsell promotions, and manage inventory and scheduling. This role offers weekly pay, a potential monthly bonus, and benefits as part of a growth path to store management.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance to complete bank deposits.
• Comfortable with cleaning/restrooms, trash, and outdoor pump areas.
• Minimum age 21+ years.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a positive attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate your team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
