Job summary

GPM Investments’ fas mart store in Sandston, VA is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run daily operations on second or third shifts, with frequent weekends and holidays.

You’ll supervise staff, handle cash and deposits, keep the store stocked and clean, and coach a team to deliver strong customer service.

Open availability is required. The position offers weekly pay, a monthly bonus potential, 401(k), paid time off, health/dental/vision coverage, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Must have a valid driver\'s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Must be at least 21+ years old.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and follow company policies.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to stay stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store, including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits, oversee store financials.
• Provide leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
