Job summary

GPM Investments is hiring an Assistant Manager for Store 6012 with a focus on customer service and store operations in Chuckey, TN. The role requires open availability, including weekends and holidays, and a readiness to work second or third shifts.

You will support the Store Manager, oversee cash handling, train staff, and drive upsells while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Operate the register and assist customers quickly and accurately.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock full.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Handle daily cash, deposits, and store financials.

• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership that motivates your team to excel.

Qualifications

• Open Availability: You must be available to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Reliable Transportation: You must have a valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance to complete bank deposits.
• Physical Readiness: Comfortable with tasks such as cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining outside areas like pumps.
• Minimum Age Requirement: 21 + years old
• Communication Skills: Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to Learn: Especially in Tennessee, where Topshelf Manager Training is required.
• Certification: Must have (or be able to obtain obtain) a Food Safety Certification
