Job summary

Vail Resorts in Utah is hiring for winter 2026/27 for multiple seasonal roles including cooks, drivers, and instructors. The company offers one of the industry’s highest pay rates, free employee passes, free ski lessons, and 40% discounts on retail and lodging, plus extensive training and wellness benefits.

Positions are seasonal with rolling hiring and applications accepted until December 15th or when filled.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Previous experience operating/maintaining heavy machinery; snowmaking experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Ability to work outdoors in alpine environments.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate all transportation vehicles as per the standard operating procedures.
• Understand and teach proper snowmaking quality checks.
• Lead snowmaking day-to-day shift operations.
• Understand and operate snowmaking pumps, compressors, manual and automated snowmaking guns.
• Maintain snowmaking equipment and buildings as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.
