Vail Resorts is hiring Snowmakers for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 at Keystone, CO. Starting wage ranges from $25.25 to $30.61 per hour, with full-time hours available and housing options on-site.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowmaking equipment and systems per SOPs.
• Maintain snowmaking equipment and facilities.
• Assist snowmaking lead with daily operations.
• Monitor snow quality and pump/gun performance.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $25.25/hr - $30.61/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Operate all transportation vehicles as per the standard operating procedures
• Understand and teach proper snowmaking quality checks
• Assist snowmaking lead with day-to-day operations
• Understand and operate snowmaking pumps, compressors, manual and automated snowmaking guns
• Maintain snowmaking equipment and buildings as directed
• Ability to complete assigned tasks while unsupervised
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Previous experience operating/maintaining heavy machinery; snowmaking experience preferred
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Ability to work outdoors in alpine environments
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lb

The expected pay range is $25.25/hr - $30.61/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
