Job summary

Vail Resorts in Wisconsin is hiring for winter seasonal positions including snowmaking, cooks, drivers, instructors, and more. Join a team that values safety, growth, and guest experience while enjoying the mountain lifestyle and employee benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate snowmaking equipment and related transportation as per SOPs.
• Assist snowmaking lead with day-to-day operations.
• Maintain Snowmaking pumps and guns and report issues.
• Work across shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends.

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $25.25/hr – $30.61/hr
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
• Shift Type: Full Time hours available
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
• Housing Availability: Yes

Job Responsibilities

• Operate all transportation vehicles as per the standard operating procedures
• Understand and teach proper snowmaking quality checks
• Assist snowmaking lead with day‑to‑day operations
• Understand and operate snowmaking pumps, compressors, manual and automated snowmaking guns
• Maintain snowmaking equipment and buildings as directed
• Ability to complete assigned tasks while unsupervised
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Previous experience operating/maintaining heavy machinery; snowmaking experience preferred
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Ability to work outdoors in alpine environments
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb

The expected pay range is $25.25/hr – $30.61/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
