Job summary

PSIA-AASI Western Region in Park City is seeking a Ski & Ride School Assistant Manager for the winter season. You will supervise frontline Ski & Ride School operations, work with the Location Manager, and ensure an exceptional guest experience for the Experience of a Lifetime.

Requires 1 year in a Ski & Ride School, PSIA/AASI Level 1, and strong guest service and English skills. This full-time seasonal role offers competitive pay and housing assistance as available.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of one year working in a Ski & Ride School.
  • Current PSIA/AASI Level 1 certification or equivalent foreign certification.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Advanced to expert skiing/snowboarding skills.
  • Must work well in a team.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision of Ski and Snowboard instructors.
  • Assign daily tasks and lesson assignments for instructors.
  • Report instructor lesson work for payroll and approve timecards daily.
  • Mentor, observe, coach, deliver feedback and evaluations of instructors.
  • Lead safety standards within the department.
  • Provide superior guest service at all times.

The Ski and Ride School Assistant Manager is a member of the Park City Ski and Ride School leadership team. The primary responsibility of this role is to supervise front line aspects of Park City Ski and Ride School Products under the direction of the Location Manager. This position works directly with the Location Manger to deliver our guests the Experience of a Lifetime. This is a salaried full time seasonal position.

Job Specifications
  • Starting Wage: $52,000.00 – $65,433.00
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities
  • Direct Supervision of Ski and Snowboard instructors
  • Assign daily tasks and make all lesson assignments for instructors scheduled to your work area each day.
  • Report instructor lesson work for Payroll and approve submitted timecards daily
  • Mentoring, observing, coaching, delivering feedback and evaluations of instructors
  • Understand, lead and model safety standards within the department.
  • Be proactive to provide superior guest service at all times (internal and external)
  • Holds staff to consistent standards set for accountability with company and departmental policies & procedures
  • Build a working knowledge of RPOS, Pro Connect, Lesson Connect, including specific Ski School Tools and Report Modules
  • Monitor and adjust staffing levels at the direction of the Location Manager and Sr. Manager
  • Lead special activities, and maintain facilities, assist in training as assigned or needed
  • Any other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year working in a Ski & Ride School
  • Current PSIA/AASI Level 1 certification or equivalent foreign certification
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Fluent in all aspects of the English language
  • Advanced to expert level skiing/ snowboarding skills
  • Must be able to work in a high alpine environment
  • Must have excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Must work well in a team
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, weekdays, evenings, & holidays
  • Offers may be contingent upon a post offer background check and reference checks
Preferred Skills
  • Current PSIA/AASI Level 2 or 3 certification or equivalent foreign certification
  • RPOS, Guest Connect, Lesson Connect experience
Minimum 1 Year Leadership Experience

College degree/ experience in a relevant field

Physical Requirements
  • Able to withstand lengthy exposure to cold and inclement weather
  • Able to sit at computer for extended periods of time
  • Physical strength and ability to respond appropriately to emergency and other unplanned situations

The expected pay range is $52,000.00 – $65,433.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
