PSIA-AASI Western Region seeks an Assistant Manager for the Ski & Ride School to lead staff, oversee competition services, and manage administrative functions. This role drives guest satisfaction and program excellence in a dynamic winter environment.
You will coordinate race programming, staffing, schedules, budgets, payroll support, and serve as a liaison among guests, athletes, coaches, parents, and resort departments. Emphasis on safety and collaboration to achieve objectives.

The Assistant Manager, Ski & Ride School (Competition Services & Administration) supports the overall operation of the Ski & Ride School through leadership of staff, oversight of competition services, and management of departmental administrative functions. This position assists in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining operational excellence, supporting employee development, and ensuring safe and efficient program operations. The role coordinates race and competition programming, staffing, scheduling, budgets, payroll support, and operational resources while serving as a key liaison between guests, athletes, coaches, parents, and resort departments. The Assistant Manager works closely with Ski & Ride School leadership and other resort departments to achieve business objectives and support department growth.
Starting Wage: $52,000.00 – $67,267.00

Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Ski & Ride School Instructor, Competition Coach, or related ski industry role.
Experience with ski school operations, competition services, race programs, or athlete development programs.
Experience with scheduling, staffing, and administrative functions.
Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
US Ski & Snowboard coaching certification preferred.
Microsoft Office proficiency.
Experience with RPOS or similar resort management systems preferred.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
The expected pay range is $52,000.00 – $67,267.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
